University of the Pacific’s women’s basketball team will seek to advance to the third round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament when it visits the University of Minnesota for a second-round game Tuesday, March 26.
The game will be played at historic Williams Arena on the Minnesota campus.
The matchup will be telecast on BTN+ and a watch party will be held at The Lair, upstairs at the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center, starting with the 5 p.m. tipoff.
Pacific advanced Thursday with a 63-43 first-round win over Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
The Tigers will try to advance behind a remarkably balanced lineup that has five players averaging scoring in double figures: Elizabth Elliott 13.3 points per game, Anaya James 12.1, Cecilia Holmberg 12.0, Liz Smith 12.0 and Kadie Deaton 10.9.
